Tariff Rates

“Domestic Consumer” means a consumer occupying a private dwelling, which is not used as a hotel, boarding house or used for the purpose of carrying out any form of business, trade, professional activities or services.

	For the next 100 kWh (501 - 600 kWh) per month	sen/kWh	41.6
	For the next 100 kWh (601 - 700 kWh) per month	sen/kWh	42.6
	For the next 100 kWh (701 - 800 kWh) per month	sen/kWh	43.7
	For the next 100 kWh (801 - 900 kWh) per month	sen/kWh	45.3
	For the next kWh (901 kWh onwards) per month	sen/kWh	45.4
	The minimum monthly charge is RM3.00

比如一粒8W的灯泡，一天开八小时，一天的灯泡的电费是多少啊？ 

国能TNB （2007）电费:
1kWh= RM0.218 ( < 200units )
1kWh= RM0.289 ( > 200units ) （成为历史了）

国能TNB电费（截至2011年,4月是对的）:
1kWh= RM0.218 ( 1< 200units )
1kWh= RM0.334 ( 201<400units  )    （成为历史了）

国能TNB电费（截至2012年,4月是对的）:
1kWh= RM0.218 ( 1< 200units )
1kWh= RM0.334 ( 201<300units  )
1kWh= RM0.400 ( 301<400units  )  ===《 电费起价了。。

那么：
1000w/1小时 = RM0.218 
1000w/1小时 = RM0.289 

简化成1watt / hour：
1W/1小时 = RM0.000218 ( 使用少过< 200units )
1W/1小时 = RM0.000289 ( 使用多过> 200units )

例子1：
比如一粒8W的灯泡，一天开八小时，一天灯泡的电费是多少？ 
8W的灯泡，一天开八小时
=8w x 8小时 x RM0.000218 
=RM0.013952
=RM0.014 （每天所用电费）
或
8W的灯泡，一天开八小时
=8w x 8小时 x RM0.000289 
=RM0.018496
=RM0.018 （每天所用电费）
所以电费是可以在1.4分到1.8分之间

例子2：
3000W的热水器，假设每次使用10分钟，（0.17小时）
=3000w x 0.17小时 x RM0.000289 
=RM0.14739
=RM0.15 （每次所用10分钟的电费）
如果有4个家庭成员， 每人洗两次，那一天有8次， 就是RM0.15 x 8= RM1.20./天。
一个月是RM1.20 x 30 天 = RM36


例子3：一马力的冷气机，每架冷气机的电力消耗 （或效率）都不一样。。。
1马力的冷气可以假设是 860W。（包括压缩机+风扇等）

假设你开最冷，18degC， 假设冷气的压缩机不停的跑的情况下：

一马力的冷气机 （860w），假设使用60分钟，（1小时）
=860w x 1小时 x RM0.000289 
=RM0.24854
=RM0.25 （每小时最多的电费）

但实际上冷气机的压缩机会一开一关， 应该会少过 RM0.25。
假设每天开6小时， 那么 RM0.25 x 6小时 = RM1.50/天
一个月= RM1.50 x 30 天 = RM45  （这是估计最多的情况下） :o 

注： 冷气的耗电量
请注意， 不同的机种有不同的耗电量， 以下只做参考粗略计算用。
1.0马力是860w +/- 20w， 
1.5马力是1160w +/- 20w， 
2.0马力是2000w +/- 20w，
